You may have noticed that I am terribly behind on these updates and wishing that I had never said they would be created every week! We are now up to the end of April, when some of our volunteers and donors had the opportunity to have a look at progress.
Site manager Mark explains the new shop area to some of our donors and Development Trust trustees.
The new Social History gallery, including the exposed wall of the original building, and a close-up of some of the brickwork on the exterior.
Our new temporary exhibitions space, framed up and ready for the installation of the special plasterboard that is strong enough to hang paintings.
Our new Learning Room, with its vaulted ceiling, looking through towards the new office and toilets.
This seems so long ago now! We can’t wait to show you the finished building very soon.
